Welcome to Buzzword Bingo (the “App”), operated by Davies Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

1. Eligibility

  1. By using the App, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

  2. The App is intended for general audiences. While there are no strict age restrictions, parents and guardians should supervise use by minors.

2. Account Registration and Authentication

  1. To access certain features, you must create an account using one of the following methods:

    • Google login via OAuth

    • Email and password registration

    • Apple Sign-In (iOS only)

  2. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

  3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity that occurs under your account.

  4. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

  5. By using these login methods, you authorize us to collect and process your authentication data according to our Privacy Policy.

3. Use of the App

  1. The App is for personal, non-commercial use, except where explicitly authorized.

  2. You agree not to:

    • Use the App for illegal purposes or violate applicable laws;

    • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code;

    • Interfere with servers or networks;

    • Harass, threaten, or harm others;

    • Circumvent ads, in-app purchases, or monetization mechanisms.

  3. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

4. In-App Purchases and Ads

  1. The App may include ads and in-app purchases.

  2. You are responsible for any charges incurred through your device account.

  3. All in-app purchases are non-refundable, except where required by law or the platform’s policies (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play).

  4. Ads are displayed by third-party networks; we are not responsible for their content or accuracy.

5. User Content

  1. “User Content” includes any content you submit, post, or share through the App (e.g., messages, game content).

  2. You retain ownership of your User Content but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display it in connection with the App.

  3. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party rights or violate laws.

6. Privacy

  1. Our Privacy Policy governs the collection and use of personal data.

  2. By using the App, you consent to data collection as described in the Privacy Policy.

  3. The App may use cookies, analytics, and third-party services (including Google and Apple) to operate and improve your experience.

7. Intellectual Property

  1. All App content (graphics, text, logos, software) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

  2. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

8. Third-Party Services

  1. The App integrates with third-party services, including Google OAuth and Apple Sign-In.

  2. Use of these services is subject to their terms and conditions.

  3. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or functionality.

9. Limitation of Liability

  1. The App is provided “as-is” and “as available.”

  2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted access.

  3. We are not liable for:

    • Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;

    • Loss of data, profits, or business;

    • Unauthorized access to your account or content;

    • Any issues arising from ads or third-party services.

10. Termination

  1. We may suspend or terminate your account or access at any time, without notice.

  2. Upon termination, your rights under these Terms immediately cease.

  3. Provisions that should survive termination (e.g., intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification) remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia in any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App.
